question on sending verbena

Will verbena be ok with soil knocked and rinsed off for shipping. I just know it wilts easily.

I would wrap a damp(but not dripping) paper towel around the roots and wrap that with saran wrap to help keep them hydrated. Depending on where they are going, it could take 2 or 3 days or more and mail trucks get really hot.I have had pretty good luck sending plants that way.
