Mrs. Ed, your Kingbirds are directionally challenged!! LOL Great pictures.
Very cute GG!!
I am envious of you folks with the Painted Buntings and the Dickcissels. The Song Thrush is really neat.
Me too GG!! Nice ones red!!!
Thanks for the new start Knip. Your thrush is beautiful!
GG, you got a good pose with your cardinal.
Red, I think your bunting shows up better in the light you had. That Dickcissel is gorgeous.
Pelle, great shot of your finch!n Looks like he's pretty happy with that feeder to himself.
While in town the other day we found a family of Canada Geese.
Excellent shots duc!!!
Those Goslings are so precious!! Love your pic of the Green Heron!
Love the green heron pic, although they never look very green to me. :)
That looks like it needs a caption adel. :-)
These sweet little ones were perched on the front porch and I couldn't resist. They cuddled for a long time before finally heading out. I saw them around several times and they were always one step behind the other. I didn't know young doves hung together after leaving the nest. I love hearing the peaceful dove calls in my yard.
Sweet juvenile doves ILflowers.
Those goslings and baby doves are adorable!
You guys are ripping through these threads! Wow! I am busy for a few days and don't get much computer time and I totally miss two whole threads! The photos are beautiful but I can't begin to catch up on comments now. The only one I want to ask about is from #316... Charlie, did you take that Painted Bunting photo in MD? I would so love to see them around here! I dind't think we had them!
Hubby and I took a walk yesterday evening around a local "duck pond", to see if there were some ducklings and goslings to photograph. We found a great surprise! Two pair of Green Herons are nesting in one tree, and withing good view of a very secluded spot about 50 yards away. She is obviously sitting on eggs, and Papa is watching over her! I hope to be able to follow them throughout the rearing!
Love all the pics especially the heron ones. Backyard was full of cardinals today for some reason. Not that I'm conplaining.
Nanny, Pretty shots of the Blue Jay and Cardinal!!
VA, What a great find the Green Heron nest was! Wonderful shots. Gotta love those goslings and ducklings! Handsome Great Blue Heron.
