Kim is still at work but I imagine she would say a "hug". Not a big problem, she learned so her Grandmother could come more often to visit since I moved here then Mom got so she can't travel. She has also been taken off her shots since.

I would think it would be a good thing for Kel to keep his eyes open. LOL Heaven for bid where he might give it them. :-(

Well, the way I see it...if Deborah doesn't come, then I'll be the only sistah who made it to all of them so far! :o)

Stacey has requested barbequed chicken on Saturday the day of her shower, so that is on the menu for the big meal for Saturday.

Kathy is bringing fried turkey, so that will probably be on Sunday, and I'll make a brisket for that day, too.

We can always fill in with suggestions. Pasta salad sounds good. I'll be making a vegetable salad and a 7 layered salad. I think Stacey asked for potato salad for Saturday...not sure. Wish she'd check in.

It was nice at BJ's to have the relish plate and cold cuts available whenever someone was hungry, so I'll probably try to have that available as well.

I'm hoping to have fresh strawberries. The plants are blooming like crazy now. So maybe some shortcake, or sugar free ice cream for Jaye and those strawberries....

Anyone have special requests?

Actually Joyce, the idea behind smoking a pork loin was so we could just have a cold cut tray ---none of this staying in the kitchen. To much talking, hugging and laughing to be done to spend time over a stove. I don't any of us will go hungry. LOL Jaye, you can just add to the platter.

i will bring my rum chocolate fruit cake. I promise you will rethink fruit cake when you try this one.I know its more for Christmas but i do enjoy sharing and giving people a new outlook on fruit cake. :) and you can take it home with you and freeze it for the holidays. cuz its preserved with rum ! wakka wakka
i got a 7 qt slow cooker i can bring :) we can dump the pork loin in there and let is simmer all day

Yeap sure do. Haven't made them but Kim knows about them and keep saying she is going to prepare some. Might remind her tonight.
