Starting Saved Seeds

Matewan, WV(Zone 6b)

I have a "starting seeds" question. If you've had a bunch of seeds you've saved....do you have to re-hydrate them where they are dried out. If so, for how long....a day, maybe 2.

It depends on the seed. Some seeds need to be soaked, others need to be scarified (nicked), and others need to be cold stratified for proper germination. Many others you can just sow without any special preparation. You could try looking at the seed germination database here: http://www.backyardgardener.com/tm.html

Thank you KaylaRED....I forget to check back on my posts. I don't know the name of the vine (I got it for Mother's Day a couple of yrs ago and saved the seeds), it didn't have a name tag. But I will attach a photo of what the leaves looked like....the leaves were fuzzy like and the backs were kinda gray.
