i found this plant and over watered it because i just recently found out what it is! so i trans plannted it and now scared to water it! well the branches got all mushy so i had to cut them to where they werent mushy any more and its really low now. so my question is will it grow back or should i give up on this plant? and i did put it in a smaller pot. this one was way to big.
can you help my dragon tree?
I'd give it a chance--as long as the stems that are left aren't mushy it should come back. Sometimes people start new plants by chopping the tops off and rooting them, and the plant puts out new leaves where it was cut and that's basically the same thing that you just did. Just make sure you're careful on the watering--they don't need a ton of water anyway, and since it has hardly any foliage right now it's not going to go through water as quickly as it would normally.
