I have a red pentas plant that I over wintered in the house. It started growing. I hardened it off and put it outside. Just when it was ready to stay out there we had a HUGE wind storm! It blew all the leaves off and it looks like a couple of sticks. I'm SO sad! I babied it clear through the winter for this? Anyway, no use crying over spilled milk (or dead plants). Should I just get another one and try again, or will it be ok?
My Red Pentas! Will it be OK after this wind storm?
I'd give it a chance to come back--unless there were very cold temperatures along with the wind there's a good chance it'll put out some new leaves (but if this sort of wind is a regular occurrence in your area, you may want to find a more sheltered spot for it)
