growing rose from seeds

I'm being VERY courageous this year ^_^ and decided to plant roses from seeds...(crickets chirpin)... Tis but an accident that I came across a rose hip and I thought- what da heck eh? ^_^ So I went to my local HD and scooped up a few Jiffy doohickeys and just sowed the seeds like any ole regular seeds ^_^ (GASP!) ... I'm pretty sure nothin's gonna sprout but it would be one heart-stoppin, oh em gee moment if even one makes it!

feel free to poke fun ^_^ coz bygolleegeewhiz, anything is possible if you're only thinkin about it, right? ;)

ya I saw that (and about a dozen other sites) too before I started but it was just too much info and stuff to do plus i only had like 9 seeds ^_^. just wanted to see if anythin will happen if i just "winged" it. they're prolly toast but what the hey ;).
