I am not sure if I am in the right place for this question, but I am hoping to get some answers :0). My husband and I bought our first house last May and it had brand new sod layed down so last summer I was watering it like a crazy person so it would take root. Which it did. Now here we are spring and our has taken root but in alot of places it's dead and other places its yellow. I am not sure what happened to it. Of course last year it never really got green becasue it was brand new. We did fertalize it and it doesn't have brown patches it simply had dead non growing grass as well as yellow grass. HELP!!! I have worked so hard at my garden and making the rest look so pretty and now we have an ugly lawn :0(. Thank you in advance.
I need help with my Lawn ASAP!!
I can not tell you what happened, but can suggest if the damage is not too widespread, you could purchase a few sheets of sod and remove and replace the dead areas. You may want to check the areas for insects that may have caused the damage. I would suggest contacting your local County Agent or Master Gardener program for their insight and advice also.
