I recently transplanted sage to another location in the garden but it isn't doing well. The leaves are drooping. We've had a lot of rain lately, but could the problem be that I moved the plant? Or if not, why?

Common sage
How long ago did you transplant the sage? Were you sure to get as much rootball as possible? Sometimes it can take a plant a few weeks to resurge after transplanting. That being said, there is always some root damage and leaf loss as a result of transplanting. I would suggest giving it a bit of time to re-establish itself. I am sure you are also still having some relatively cool nights and that make slow things down also.
Thankyou "themoonhowl," I will just keep watching it.
You are very welcome. I hope things shape up for you and your plant revives.
