Hi!! Does anyone know if any Physalis species found in Tx are edible (or are they all edible)? I think I might have a Physalis species growing in my yard, but I don't want to take any chances especially since I not entirely sure it is a Physalis. It is a silvery green upright plant with small yellow flowers with black markings surrounding the center.

I'd suggest posting pictures of the plant on the Plant ID forum http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/plantid/all/ Someone there can hopefully tell you for sure what it is, and that's the first step to figuring out whether it's edible or not.
