DG Mobile App???

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Kim, as you probably know better than I, there are so many variables in the way smart phones render websites, it wouldn't begin to make any assumptions about why that's happening. i have not seen that on iPad, iPhone or droid (none of them mine, only borrowed momentarily from my family members using them :-)

Mackinaw, IL(Zone 5a)

No black column like that on my iPhone. It is tiny and hard to navigate on my little screen, as it doesn't wrap around when I zoom in to make it readable, but it looks just like it does on my computer monitor.

My dream would be a DG app with push notifications for things like new trades available for items on my trade list, new forum posts on watched threads, etc. That would be so nice. :)

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

I get DG thru Safari on an Iphone, and don't have to tap, i can put 2 fingers on the screen and spread them to the size I like, then the site folds down into pages and i can choose my page. No one has privacy anymore anyway- but I really enjoy the thought of trying to find a sneaky vegetable!

Bump. It's been 7 years. Am I completely missing a DG app in the store?

Last post by administrator was 2012. Is there anybody out there?

Albuquerque, NM(Zone 7a)

It seems these days the only to reach Admin is by sending message via their Facebook Page. Just search for Dave's Garden on Facebook and you will see a "send message" section.

Thank you June, but what is going on?
Check on the Perennials forum with the thread White Flower Garden.

Birder, all I could do was report the mess that was going on in certain threads. Terry messaged me (on Facebook) that they were experiencing a major attack of "bots" in some threads and were struggling to resolve the problem.

You can go to https://www.facebook.com/davesgardencom/ and click "send message" to reach them.

June, thank you for reporting this mess. I will not report it also as it would be redundant, but am glad Terry is still involved. I was beginning to think there was NO administration. You sure don't hear anything. Why has Terry quit responding on this website?? I don't get it.

Albuquerque, NM(Zone 7a)

Birder, their focus seems to be on their Facebook page and a lot less on this site. I wonder if any staff member ever checks this site anymore. I remember the days when Dave himself ran and monitored this site. He had an eagle eye for misbehavior and took care of it promptly.

I kinda miss those days. I must be getting old!

dave's garden has a facebook page? Then, I feel they have abandoned this site.
Thanks for the heads up. So sad.

The Dave's Garden Facebook page is here:
https://www.facebook.com/davesgardencom/

I don't think you have to be a FB member to view it. Since I do a FB page for my animal rescue group I am a member. I was able thus to send a message to Dave's from their FB page.

Jackson, MO(Zone 6b)

Sad you have to go to facebook to communicate regarding Dave's Garden.

Albuquerque, NM(Zone 7a)

You don't have to be a Facebook member to see their page.

Click on Message at the top and send your complaint or whatever. I never got a reply but they did fix a problem I reported a while back.

People should be able to contact the administrators and receive answers here at this site. It's counterintuitive to have to go off-site to Facebook like that. When people pay a subscription to a site, they reasonably expect to receive support at that site. We shouldn't have to go chasing around trying to get in touch with someone. When Dmails to admin and other members of DG don't work, something needs to be fixed.

I agree. I posted this to you in another thread but will restate that by messaging them on Facebook I have actually had a problem resolved. Never heard from them -- just noticed that the problem had been fixed!
