Butter yellow Flowers

Santa Cruz, CA

Any suggestions for soft butter yellow flowers? I love the bright hot yellows, and the crisp lemon yellows, but sometimes I just want a soft creamy yellow to complement.
any ideas? I do have a beautiful pale yellow nasturtium, and I have seen that sweet soft pansy with the purple eds, but anything else?

I like Coreopsis 'Moonbeam' http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/48882/ Or if you don't mind a large shrub instead of a perennial, Cassia bicapsularis 'Worley's Butter Creme' is a nice one http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/96132/

Leucanthemum, Butter Cream is a newer introduction and it is perennial

Me again, The Leucanthemum I was speaking of in my previous post is called Banana Cream. Had butter on my mind I guess. Any how it is worth a look.

There is also the daylily Joan Senior. The petals are a creamy white with a soft yellow throat.

One thing I can say about Joan Senior is that she blooms ALL season long in my garden. Simply nonstop blooms from this daylily and the blooms are large.

On the other hand, the color was not what I expected. Just a dull off white with a tint of lime into the throat. I would not say she had a butter yellow tint from my experience. I did not care for the ivory/lime color in the color palette I had selected so I yanked mine and gave them away.

The dahlia "Cameo" is one of my favorite pastel yellows. Blooms fairly early until frost with many 4-6" blooms. 3 1/2' tall as I recall.

The closet thing I have to butter yellow growing/blooming right now would be this Daylily named "Going Bananas". It's a good blooming soft yellow color.
