i have quite a few indoor plants but they are mostly foliage plants that do not flower. my apartment faces the south so i do not get a lot of direct sun. i am interested in getting a fairly low maintenance plant that will flower most of the year (hopefuly at least spring thru fall). any suggestions?

Hi Jenny. Here are some ideas for you. Orchids and African violets both produce great blooms. http://www.ehow.com/how_2387004_care-african-violets.html

As mentioned, African violets are a good. You also might want to consider kalanchoe. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/591/

themoonhowl- I liked those links. I learned alot of new information on house plants.
I have mostly foilage plants inside. Only my heartleaf ice plant blooms. if it's in sun.
Thanks for sharing those, Elizabeth
You are so welcome Elizabeth. There is so much good info scattered around out there. I am glad you found them useful. Moon
