I was wondering if there is a test kid you can get to test your soil and if there is a guide line for what your soil should be to produce a good garden. as you can tell I know little to nothing about gardening and some tell me that it really doesn,t matter it isn,t that important.
But my husband says if your gonna do it do it right and I would like to get the full benifit of my garden. thanks for any advice or information you can share.
getting soil tested
There are kits, but I'd recommend sending it out for testing since you'll get much more accurate results. Your local extension office should be able to tell you where in your area you can send soil samples for testing. The report that you get back will also likely suggest which elements your soil is deficient in so you'll know what you might need to improve.
