Thanks, Resin. What a beautiful bird, Willy.
Our turkey hen is back along with a bluebird, somewhere in there.
Awful Bird Pics Vol.14
Such a pretty bird, Burd...lol
Well I can't see a Nuthatch anywhere Burn. And my eye's get funny after viewing too long. lol
I see your Oriole was at 1/200 for shutter speed...at 1/2000 or more it would have been a super shot.
Good ones guys!
Oh Burd.....I know that hurt!
I saw a beautiful Belted Kingfisher and a Great Creasted Fly catcher yesterday in perfect light.....but no camera! I about cried. Neither were new birds I just have no good photos of either.
I see burn's nuthatch!
Hi 3g, That reminds me of a Yellow Warbler.
Oooh, I kinda like that shot 3gs!
Burd, totally feel your pain with the prothonotary warbler. That's a hard one to get at all and your shot was so almost perfect!
Burn, that's my luck all the time! They always fly off just as the camera finishes focusing. Usually, I don't get the bird in the shot at all!
Took three terrible pics of a female Redstart yesterday. Oh, which one shall I share? -- Chose the best of the worst. Bad thing about this area is that although you get to see lots of migrating birds, you usually only see them once. If you miss the photo, you don't get another chance until next season!
I love that one! Is it a nutria or a beaver or what?
hehehe...ground hog.
ohhh...cool!!
I see the resemblance!!
Both animals are cool, I haven't heard of a Nutria before, however. Thanks all.
I see a bit of bird, maybe?! Love the grains in the wood. Very nice pic of a bird house!
Just a few feathers, Elphaba. That's an old house hubby made years ago out of reclaimed Cedar. The top is covered in Lichens now, sorta gives it character. There's 4 or 5 babies in there and I'm determined to get pics of them...good or bad.
hehehehe
OK, I can top them all -- bad photo and horribly disappointing! Saw a whole bunch of Red Cockaded Woodpeckers this morning which was really cool. Don't think I got a single pic. When I aimed this shot, there were two of them in this tree. Can you find any b/c I can't! It was a longshot (literally) anyway. It was early so this was one of the few trees that they were in that had sun on it.
hmmmm......
Oh Darn!
Nice ones guys!
Duc, Their a lot like our Tufted Titmouse.
LOL, good one Margaret!
Margaret, great head action! LOL
What the heck was that hawk doing?! -- an exorcist impression? The feet look great though.
Burd, dang!
mcash, I rather like the titmouse fight!
