Awful Bird Pics Vol.14

North Augusta, ON

Thanks Lily, it's good to be here!! That's *almost* a good shot!

Pel...chickadees are baffling. When I'm out walking the two dogs they're right in my face, almost landing on me...the second I go out with my camera they pull a vanishing act!

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

3Gs. Sounds as if the Dees were avoiding publicity. LOL.

I once heard someone said "The boys are duking it out". That best discribe these two Mockingbirds on the roof top.

Point south to that last in flight bird. Burn. Thanks.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Oh lily, he's taken the wrong way, he's heading west. lol

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

LOL with you. Heading West eh?

I wished I could get better pix of the Carolina Wrens at the nest. Anyhooo, there may be a fledgling today. I saw three of them hopping around the mealworms feeder.

Good awful pics everyone!

Last night a bear left a big poop in the back yard and the birds were eating the seeds out of it, just as I was taking the pic something spooked them and I have this awful shot of birds and poop...LOL!!

ROTFLOL Margaret!

Lily, Thats not too bad.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Me think, there was something potent in that poop. lol

Lily, Keep trying, one of these days, you'll surprise yourself, but get ready for more bad shot though, ;))

I guess, I have to keep trying in flight shots, I miss almost half the bird.

Hey !!!! I found my corner in this forum..... LOL.....
I knew there had to be a place for me here.... I love taking pictures of birds but would not dare posting my pictures on the other threads. This is where I belong, the "awful" pictures....Lol....

Ok; here's my first one.
Picture taken outside La Ceiba, Honduras. Don't know the name of the bird; the locals call it the "pia" because of it's sound. I also don't know if this is it's nest or he's trying to steal or eat something out of it. Picture was taken very early in the morning and light was very low; after tweaking the image on Picasa (yes, not photoshop; I'm the furthest from pro you'll ever get.....Lol..) this is the best I could do. Enjoy!!!

Willy.

Is that a Red Tailed Hawk Burd? The second shot is pretty clear. Nice bad ones. :))

Sandusky, OH

Yup, Red-tailed Hawk Lily. The 2nd shot is clear but even with photoshop I really couldn't lighten it without adding too much exposure or artifacts/spots.
