Absolutely gorgeous Elphaba. I always love Blue Bonets. But in the mix with others -- they're even more beautiful!
Awful Bird Pics Vol.14
Just lovely, Elphaba!
When I watched the Today Show this morning and saw the destruction the Tornados left, I felt so sorry for the people who'd lost their homes and lives, especially the children. One was only 3 months old. How do you start cleaning up after a disaster like that and muster enough strength to begin building your life and home again?
Lily_Love, just look at the pretty reflections on the water from the necks of your Geese :)
The Sunflower field was before I had a digital camera. I'll go through my albums and see if I can find the photos and take a pic of a pic. It'll probably turn out awful though...lol
LOL....is that a Purple Finch or what?
Male House Finch
Burd, That's incredible looking!
ewww Burd. that's kinda gross! lol.
Burd, I would vote that male House Finch pic. Pic. of the day. lol!
LOL,definitely!!
I think that's beautiful. Nice job Burd.
A very nice pedicure too.
Burd, love that shaker and the dove would have been great. Sorry, at least we got to see the birds.
A very nice pedidure too.
Good ones Margaret and Lily!
Your Raven looks like another angel. Send me some Towhees!
FOTV the Towhee showed up a couple of weeks ago, stayed a couple of days then left, came back again yesterday, guess it liked the food;~) I hadn't seen a Towhee around here in a long time so I was very happy to see him/her!
Burd...such nice pretty pink feet tho!
Nice...er bad ones mcash!
Burd, keep that house finch pic for Halloween! Definitely an exorcist shot.
Great bad ones Lily and mcash! I wish some of mine were that good.
That is really neat FOV! I would love to have that nearby.
Sun, Have you checked listening to calls of Warblers at the Cornell site? Lets see if any of our Warbler people can give you some help.
It looked a bit too big to be a warbler, but I will take your suggestion to check it out.
Maybe this belongs on the Bird ID thread, but the picture is so bad I am embarrassed to post it there. The song was like a "wolf whistle" with an extra "tuk" at the end. Any ideas? It was bigger than a warbler--vireo, maybe?
Probably a vireo, but too blurred to be sure!
Resin
Thats a neat one Lily!
LOL, Definitely worth sharing! Thanks sun!
That's way too cute; dove taking a ride. lol.
LOL 3g's. Is the fairly large dark thing in the middle behind the branches your bird?
yup...LOL!!
Turkey hen (are female turkeys hens?). You'd think it would be easy with such a big bird...but she was goooood!
