Any hints on sites or pics of a tropical landscape around a pool. Pool is brand new so the sky is the limit on the ideas
Florida pool landscaping

Palms, banana plants (like white bird of paradise), and any broad-leaved evergreen plants are good starters. Choose plants with salt-tolerance, as chlorinated water contains salt. Some tropical hibiscus will add some nice color as well. I would stay away from bougainvillea and other plants of the sort unless you want to risk thorns and messy cleanup in your new pool. Keep in mind whatever you put around your pool will shed into your pool so allow that to factor in to your decision! Google keywords such as 'florida pool landscaping plants ideas' etc...Have fun!
