I am growing this plant indoors, it sits right in front of a big floor to ceiling window so it gets lots of light. The leaves are turning yellow with brown spots and are falling off. Under the leaves are clear droplets, which are gewy when you touch them. Are these bugs? How do I get rid of the bugs?

Is that happening to the lower older leaves?
Before a plant produces a new flush of leaves, it may drop some of the old ones. Be sure to keep up on a regular fertilizer schedule for the plant.
It looks like you might be seeing a drought response from a high level of salts in the soil, under-watering, or over-watering.
Additionally, if there is no evidence of mealybug, by your description odds favor there is a scale infestation. Check carefully for the source of the honeydew.

Scale are insects that attach themselves to your plant and form a shell around themselves. They suck sap from the plant, which drains it of energy. There are many types of scale, so I suggest you do an online image search to familiarize yourself with what they look like so you can determine if that is your plant's issue.
The sticky stuff could be the excreta of any one of several insects, and is what I referred to as honeydew.

Hi
I sprayed the plant with insect killer for house plants and transplanted it into a larger pot.
I wiped each leaf. There is no more honeydew and no sign of bugs or scales.
The soil didn't feel overwatered.
More leaves are falling off now.
I'm not sure I know how to do an image search.
What else can I do?
It seems this plant is now dying. It's weird because I've had it for over a year and it's always been fine, up until the past two months.
Thanks
H
