When planning one of my perennial gardens for this year, I purchased seeds from Stokes for Eucalyptus Cinerea. It is supposed to get up to 3 ft high, so I planned on placing it in the back of the garden. I started them indoors and am ready to harden them off. However, I looked at the comments on this site for this particular plant. Most posts referred to it as a tree that got from 5 ft to 60 ft high. Now I'm not sure if I should plant them in the garden. Help!
Is my eucalyptus a plant or a tree?
Eucalyptus are plants that are trees.
You can dwarf your Eucalyptus by growing it in a large pot.
Thanks, (boy, I feel stupid!)I guess I can just place the pot in the ground if I want them in my garden, but don't want them to become trees?
