Again, every year I buy a plant in my father's memory on his birthday. I bought 2 yesterday but they did not come with an id tag.

The red flower in the middle sits even with the plant. Not sure if that helps or not.

Might be Guzmania ligulata 'Major', Scarlet Star Bromeliad.
