How long does it take for a Canna (President) to come up?

I planted my cannas (Mr. President) over two weeks ago and nothing. Water twice a day, morning and afternoon, morning shade and afternoon sun. HELP

I've found cannas sprouting time depends on the soil temperature. Even though it has been warm the ground could still be cool. They are more of a summer plant, give them some more time. Also make sure they are in well-draining soil or they can rot.

I would also like to add; feed them Miracle Grow. They love this fertilizer.
