Indoor sprouting and planting out dwarf OP sweet corns

Monroe, WA(Zone 8a)

So, I am sprouting Yukon Chief and Baby Blue Jade sweet corns, I am so excited. These corn stalks are only supposed to be 2 to 3 feet tall. Yukon Chief should have 2 ears per stalk and Baby Blue Jade should have 3 to 6 ears per stalk!

I can't wait to see how these turn out and will post pictures once they are mature size and then show the resulting ears.

From my research, I recommend these two types of dwarf open pollinated sweet corns to those growing in containers. I am transplanting the Yukon Chief into the ground and may put the Baby Blue Jade either in the ground, in pots or some of each to compare.

I am also planning to see if Chires Baby Corn (up to 20 ears per 4'-5' stalk) (normally harvested very early for stir fry premature ears) can be used as a sweet corn on the cob. Has anyone else here tried growing Chires for corn on the cob?
