I just wanted to share that over the winter I found what Iooked like small trees growing off my potatoes in the pantry. I had built raised vegetable beds last year and decided to throw all the potatoes in this sack into the beds just to see what would happen....I am just getting into gardening and everything I do is pretty much looked upon as an ongoing experiment. Anyways, I just noticed some sprouts in the vegetable garden where I buried the potatoes! I am quite surprised and delighted!
threw potatoes in ground in winter and now they're growing!
Great, and congratulations!
