Last year, my blackfoot daisy plants bloomed like crazy. In November, after the first frost, I pruned them back to about 3 inches. So far (in April!), there is no new green growth. We've had a very cool start to spring, but shouldn't I see something green coming out?
Thx
My blackfoot daisy plants are not blooming
Some plants break dormancy later than others. I have a few plants that I mark locations in fall so I won't dig them accidentally in early spring. The latest one in this group doesn't show any activity until mid-June. No experience with blackfoot daisy though so I can't confirm for you whether this is a late plant or not. Someone here will know though. Don't give up hope yet :)
