One of new irises I planted turned to mush. I'm hoping it was the freebie I got.
Spring is here.....what made it, what didn't?
Remove it & douse the area with a bleach solution.
Okey dokey, thanks.
what a bummer Jen
i lost a few iris over the winter too and they were not planted too deep - on the bright side i had to move a couple to fill in for the lost ones and the roots were huge.
Very nice - except for the deer!
Pretty Ge!!!
Its not a real deer Victor
Don't give the real ones ideas.
I know it's not real!
Just checking
shoot it! :)
Awwww what a cute little deer! I wish I had some deer,
...jumping and prancing happily in the garden, Weeeee! ☺
Be carefull what you wish for.
Give me your gps coordinates, WC. ^_^
Not a chance! Hee hee!
JoAnn that combo would look great in my blue and yellow garden.
Including the deer?
Bill - I'm very excited to see that the strawberry weigela and the kerria you brought to our RU are both up and leafing out. So far, the only thing I'm not sure of is the Japanese Fern from Kathy's RU. It may be a late starter though. My rhodie doesn't look too hot either. We had cleaned out all around it and I thought it might do a lot better, but it must not be liking where it is. I had also moved Celeste's white lilac from Kassia's RU a couple years ago, and it is looking good this year.
The painted ferns do emerge late, Louise....mine aren't up yet. Nice combo, JoAnn...the deer does look cute, but maybe a bobcat would have been scarier.
JoAnn - I love your color combo, and I think your deer is adorable! Those are the best kind! Pretty dwarfs too!
i really like the foliage on the strawberry weigela too
As long as the deer is fake, it's invited to my garden
love the edging on that one JoAnn
I have no idea waht its name is. Brought it from my old house.
Very nice, JoAnn! Yes, we're back and happily so!
Welcome home Louise
Thank you, JoAnn!
Sherrie - they had our neighborhood picnic down there last night and it was 93 and very humid. I'd rather be here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
it wasn't too far off here yesterday
Think I am losing one of my Canadian Explorer roses....only has a few leaves, so I'm cutting it back, & I'll see what happens.
Bummer. Good luck.
Sorry to hear that, Marilyn! I have a couple of roses that look a bit weak too. I had to do some serious lime therapy to my clems and reblooming iris's today. The soil here is so acidic where the pines drop their needles.
good morning everyone
good morning to you, woke up at 2:30, 6:00 & 8:00. For once did not have to go to computer to kill time before I could take meds.
Hate when that happens! Feel horrible all day. Thanks, Victor....it is a bummer....the roses are a perfect red.
I have 2 azaleas that are each 1 stick with a couple blooms on top. Is there any chance to save them? Should I pull them out and replace them with some nice big ones? One of them is the same pink as some tulips in front of them and would look perfect if the azalea did better...
