Juglone is a toxic substance produced by Black Walnut trees in the soil to kill off competitive plants. Other trees produce Juglone, but I have not been able to find a list of them. A couple of years ago a horticulturist told me I have trees which are producing Juglone, but I have forgotten which ones he identified as the culprits. I have no way of contacting the guy again, and it would be very helpful to have a full list of producers so I know what I can and cannot plant around my trees.
What trees/plants produce Juglone, aside from Black Walnut?
Here is some info for you.
