I stored my tubers as instructed for Michigan. I just checked them and the tubers seem soft. Are they still good. Very new at this and not sure what to do. Even though it is a warm April so far I thenk it is too early to plant.
Thanx!!!

Dahlia Tubers....Help!!!!!
If they're not firm like a potato, it isn't a good sign.
Mushy stinky = bad
If they're just a little bit shriveled there may be hope. Just how did you store them?
stored in a box with shavings. Each one seperated from the other in a cupboard in the garage
They just look shrively and feel soft. I had 12 of them. I am so sad about this

Thats what a lot of them look like when you buy them, all you need to do is to spray them with water or bury them in damp compost of some sort, they will soon plump up and start shooting, plenty of time left yet they cannot go outside till all danger of frosts have gone ....
