I have noticed these hairy type tubercles growing in the leaf/stem axils of some young oleanders... I have noticed thrips about,so could they be thrip egg cases?

Gee,I just noticed I mixed up the word Oleander in the Title,I hope I haven't confused anyone...that will teach me not to check.

Ok now,Can anyone please tell me what has caused these gall like? growths on the undersides of this Oleander leaf.

Last one .What is the name of this small caterpillar/bud worm that has been chewing the Oleander buds and flowers. It can do a lot of damage in a small amount of time.

I’m not sure what the hair-like structures are in the first image, but they definitely are not thrips eggs. Thrips eggs are pale, often somewhat kidney-shaped, and inserted into plant tissue. The swellings on the leaf midrib could be abnormal plant growth (‘galls’) caused by a bacterial or fungal pathogen, or possibly even insect activity. Unfortunately, I cannot identify the caterpillar; you might try your luck at http://tinyurl.com/ye6yxb6

Thanks suunto for your help, actually I am now more inclined to think that maybe the hairy like tubercles are in fact a part of the plant itself, the funny thing is I had only just noticed them recently.
