Does anybody need EON markers? I'm toying with placing an order so I can get some more of the fun colored plates... they can fit up to 450 markers in a medium flat rate box, so it's a good opportunity to save a bit more with a combo order, especially if you're planning to buy some garden markers anyway. We'd need to order in sets of 50 in a given color (plain silver/zinc metal is also still available). The E-10 markers are the "regular" size, and they also have the ME-6 mini markers, great for containers. Price with shipping for the colored ones works out to between 32 and 40 cents per marker, depending on how many we get (filling the flat rate box makes the cost per marker lower). Here's a link to a thread with posts showing the colors available: http://cubits.org/notfortheserious/thread/view/15498/
Spring swap 2010
Don't need markers - It's a novel idea for me - I'm freaking hopeless at labeling anything!
I DO need some name-tags if anyone has any - if not I'll pick some up ^_^
Oh, and for those who ordered with me -- Bert shipped our goodies from TouchofNature yesterday, so they'll be here in plenty of time for me to bring them to the swap! :-)
I might be interested in the markers, Critter. I probably need about 50-75. I don't care about the color but would prefer the plain zinc ones, regular size.
Sorry I can't make this one, Becky but May 29, we're going up above Williamsport to a Mountain with a ghost town, fern fossils & possibly gold. Since we are now in the rock & mineral club & two gold prospecting clubs, besides doing craft shows, we are oh so busy anymore travelling & collecting. Picked up some gorgeous plants (Pink Oenethera, and Avens) in Ga at a Home Depot & as soon as it warms up outside, will be planting them. Remind me to do a story on our gold & gem prospecting trip we just came back from which will be posted on the Rock & gem forum and I'll link you up when it's done. Buttoneer

Heya Hart (and anybody else who might have been interested)... They're telling me that they've had some problems with slow shipping (USPS being slow, that is.. Dawn gets orders out pronto, I know) and aren't sure we'd have them before the swap. I think you might be better off ordering directly... the co-op price for 50 markers plus S/H is still less than the regular price for 50 markers, without shipping, and definitely a better deal than paying 80 cents apiece or more at a local store.
If you want to roll the dice, I'm going to go ahead and stock up again, and I'll order enough that I can spare 50 or 75.
Hopefully I'll get a better idea tomorrow at JH what my schedule might be for next week. :-)
That's fine, Critter. Whatever works for you.
Hart, I did order the markers and got plenty of them... *if* they arrive in time for me (or somebody else if I can't make it) to bring them to the swap, I'll bring 100 plain E-10 markers, and whoever wants some can have them (you get first dibs). Cost with shipping is $8.25 per 25. If you want to be sure of getting some and would rather place your own order, that's fine also.
Well, after all the hemming and hawing from mamaj about possible delivery delays.. Dawn got those markers out pronto, and they arrived in good time for the swap! Please let me know if anybody other than Hart wants markers -- that way I can figure it all out ahead if somebody ends up taking stuff down for me. (Hart, I've got you down for 75 markers, $24.75)

Becky, I checked, and I've only got a dozen or so name tag stickers left in my party box -- not enough for this crowd!
Becky - We will once again need driving directions to your place. Not sure that we could make it without them. Wouldn't miss this party for the world.
Ruby
Just reporting another wonderful time was had by all. Thank you for everything Becky!!!

I had a wonderful time at the party. Good food and good company!
Many thanks to Becky for hosting the party and for all the plants from everybody. Most of them have been planted/potted up. Will do the rest today.
Thank you Becky for hosting the event.
I had a wonderful time meeting all the faces behind the names.
