That should be interesting Moby ;)

That's wild, Moby!

We're all waiting impatiently.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

ditto about Moby's plant.

The glaminis really do stay at 24" and do not flop. The only thing I notice is that the blooms don't necessarily open all the way to the tip of the stalk. I don't mind that, prefer it to having the floppyness. I just bought some more Toms on ebay , $6.99 for 10, I think that's good. somebody else had the yellow yellow one for $5 for 10. I didn't get those b/c I didn't have sunny real estate for them. I planted some in part shade and they grow but don't bloom. I have every single glamini color. Red is my fave, then a peach one, then yellow. I think y'all would enjoy them

I don't have to lift them up for winter and they don't rot that easily. Would have to have 40 days of rain b4 I would lose them.

here is the ebay seller for the Tom glaminis. I have never used this seller or know them but I was willing to risk it.

They go on my list for 2011

I noticed the Glamini Glads in your picture too. I started with them last year when I decided to try them instead of the full sized glads I usually buy. I bought them in mixed colors. Boy am I ever glad I did. These things are fabulous. The colors are divine and they don't flop much. This year I bought them again and will have a fabulous summer show.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Oh so cool, Moby!! :) You seem to have a lot of lilies that do that. :) What are you feeding them?

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Nothing. Maybe they're PO'd?

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Mutant lilies... LOL

Stamford, CT(Zone 6b)

Moby, it looks a gazillion buds. And it's getting taller....

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Still not many other lilies here yet, another 'Cancun' after the rain.

Thank you all for the wonderful lily pics - it's great to see them.

South Lake Tahoe, CA

Yes, thank-you for all of the pics!
Its snowing here "again"
As I look above I say:
Twinkle, Twinkle, little snowflake,
please be gentle with my flowers.

Elgin, IL(Zone 5a)

Wow - when does it STOP? And is this normal? Does it set them back?

South Lake Tahoe, CA

"sigh"
Yes, this is normal.
The daffs + tulips do well. They're tough little flowers.
Our last storm (11 days ago) gave us 6" of fresh powder.
By the second day, all of the snow melted.
The stems froze and then thawed, and revived themselves back.
Such a joy to see.

I went out earlier and took photograghs of the snow cover daffodils + tulips.
Pretty sight if we only get a couple of inches. It will melt and water the garden naturally. Will place more compost + fertilizer around the garden for extra nutrients for the upcoming hot semi- arid summer.

Keep sending your photos.
I love to dream....

Elgin, IL(Zone 5a)

You are an optimist and dreamer. I think that's wonderful. This is one of the reasons I just love these forums - such great people.

I love to see all of the photos of everyone's gardens!
Such a joy when we have snow! LOL

Keep on sending photos...

Not a lily but still a nice surprise this morning...

2nd lily to open this season. I think I called the 1st one a possible yellow pixie, however, a more concise attempt to name it should have been a possible orange or buff pixie, for this new one is definitely a yellow.

1st batch, definitely buff or an orange.
