I have to share my struggle with planting a dogwood tree. I started to dig a hole and found tons of rocks. I decided to tough it out and dig them out because I figured it would be the same problem if I moved the location over a little.
After getting the last huge rock dug loose I couldn't get it out of the hole! haha
I ended up buying some rope and dragging it out with my car!
Anyway, when I got done there wasn't enough fill dirt to raise the tree up, so I had to go buy some soil and dig the tree back up, finish filling in the hole, and then plant again.
haha I hope it lives now!
This is a picture of the rocks I dug out before "The Big One".
