I want to dig up and transplant some american hollys from the woods around my house. Trees will be dug up and planted imediatly. I was thinking about 1 inch trees because i can easily get a little root ball. Have i waited too late. Should i prune??? Should i remove some of the foliage. Can i transplant into summer if i make sure i have some rootball?? I absolutly love american hollys and the woods around my house are full of them. I'd like to transplant about 20 of them into my five acre landscape. Any advice on this would be grealy appreciated. I am in Daphne, Al
