Ajuga reptans

Carrollton, TX

I've had this species of plant before, so it was no trouble recognizing a more wild variant growing in the yard (moved over the years).

I volunteer at an organization for women and thought it best to bring along a plant that was very forgiving for the class to take care of. So many things in their life tend to wither, and I wanted to show an ordinary looking plant with beautiful little flowers. I've had good success in the past with this plant in regards to low soil quality, lighting, watering... etc.

Some helpful suggestions would be much appreciated.
