I planted a peach tree 2 years ago...it is an otherwise VERY healthy tree and growing vigorously although I have not gotten fruit yet....The weird thing is, on one of the main branches there is a large open wound, rather darker than the rest of the bark of the tree and it is leaking sap from the wound. During summer the leaves are healthy and I see no other issue....I tried looking this issue up but haven't seen anything like it. Does anyone know what this might be and how to help the tree?
