Looking for a place to buy mulch and have it delivered instead of making numerous trips to the garden center. Need 30 Cubic yards! Is it cost effective to do this?
Mulch delivery to Memorial area,Houston
It's definitely going to be more cost effective than buying it in bags from Home Depot. There ought to be landscaping companies in your area that offer that service--I'd call around and check prices. The closer they are to your house the more likely that the delivery fee will be reasonable.
Hi! I'm not far from you, in the Spring Branch area. I asked about mulch last summer, and someone suggested Cowboy Topsoil. (http://cowboytopsoilhouston.com/) We haven't tried them yet... We were going to get a bunch delivered this spring, but we've had some expenses pop up and there went my mulch budget. Bummer. But I've heard good things about them, for what it's worth. :-)
We too buy mulch by the truckload but one bad experience after years of buying, It is true that the costs is lower but after few days there were weeds galore !!! We now just buy the bag mulch and which makes our beds weed free. our yard and garden pictures is posted on beginner flowers under lasagna gardening. Sometimes cheaper is not better. Belle
