Missy....the "newer and easier" did not pan out!! He will try again when he gets more time...right now I have him planting and pulling weeds!!

No rufous on tail.

It made this male Rufous back down three times while I was watching.

Great shots Adel!! I agree, by the tail, it looks like it could be a female Anna's. Congratulations!!

This latest rainstorm coming in has brought me several more hummers too-including my beautiful male Calliope this morning. Yahoo!! Last year he was here the 7th and in 2008, on the 1st. so it's been pretty good timing as I look at it.

So far, I've just taken this quick shot through the window because the other hummers are chasing him off continuously.
