I didn't realize that Bio Science had gone out of business, and that their Messenger product would no longer be available.
According to this morning's Journal Sentinel Midwest gardening column, there is a new JAZ product that has the same naturally occuring chemicals thatt strengthen plans and enhance their tolerance to stressful conditions. They have a website, jazzsprays.com, and it may also be available at local garden centers.
I know a lot of DGers swore by Messenger, so it's good to know there is still a source for a product like it.

Edited to add the link, and a comment that I only see the rose spray on their website.

new source for Messenger type products
it seems to me that i recall reading an article that stated plain aspirin dissolved in water and used as a spray has the same effects, to some degree, as messenger. i'll see if i can find the article for you.
here it is: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/759964/

I hadn't ever used it myself, not having had any problems except Japanese Beetles, but thought it would be of interest for those who were devoted Messenger users.
I purchased more than I need in anticipation of Eden's closing.
