Did I say last one? Haha! Male and female red-winged blackbirds
A friend of mine in FL said that she can't even imagine spring this year b/c the buds on the azaleas froze. I realized that my azaleas should be blooming and went to investigate. Sure enough, brown, crunchy frozen buds. Spring just won't be the same without the azaleas.

Duc, Love the male Spotted Towhee. Elphaba, Handsome Red-winged Blackbirds and yes a Brow-headed Cowbird! Sorry about the Azalea's.

nanny_56 - Nice start to the new thread. That's something I've not seen - the Dark-eyed Junco Oregon Form. All mine are the "regular" form.
LindaTX8 - I looked in my Kaufman Field Guide and that sure looks like a Western Scrub-Jay to me. I've never seen one in person, but it appears to be a nice looking bird.
