And an Oak Titmouse. This spot on the top of a tree next to our house seem to be a favorite for most of the birds when they're waiting a turn at the peanut feeder.

So far no cowbirds here yet. But I am sure they will be arriving any day now. I just wish they starling would go away!

On wednesday I had an unusual visitor....a Dark-eyed Junco Oregon form. So that was very cool to get something at least a little different! Not as pretty as yours tho Duc!

Great shots all! Someone told me that the Farmers Almanac said that March was going to be a very snowy month. Sun is finally out here a little today.

Nice to see the Grosbeak Mrs Ed! love the Pine Siskin and Goldfinch!

Duc, Nice job on the Eagle landing! The Dark-eyed Junco pic is really nice and it's good to see the Quail again.

Nice shots of the Junco and Titmouse nanny!

Melbourne, FL

I wonder if the Farmers Almanac got the rest of the winter forecast correctly. Anybody have a copy to check? PS I just checked online, and they predicted a "numbing" winter for most of the country, but also predicted a near normal winter for the Southeast....which was way off.

I made me several log feeders. Drilled several 1.25 inch holes through the log and stuffed the holes full of my first batch of homemade Peanut Butter Suet - this Carolina Wren found it quickly.

Nice shots all! Nice shots Mrs_Ed! I definitely want to see the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks...I thought I would get a Pine Siskin this winter, maybe this spring.
