Nice shots everyone, Nanny..congrats on finding the Horned Larks on the previous thread. GP, love the Collared Dove and blue skies. Al, nice to see you back with those shots of the Brant..I've never seen one. Red...those Blues didn't waste any time finding the pink dish...best of luck in having them nest. Pelle..good grief, so sorry about your snow...again!! Lily..you have such a wonderful variety of birds and nice catch on the Towhee! Have the Blues found your worms yet?

We have had some beautiful sun shine lately...just makes you want to do something!! It is still cold but will be in the 40's today. I have a few shots from the past few days to share...

Well the snow is picking up strength now, we're supposed to get very high winds. Large flocks of Starling and Common Grackle along with some Brown headed Cowbirds.

Lily, glad you're seeing the Eastern Towhee. I don't have that species here, but from my book, it looks like the females are a browner color on their backs. Good one of the white-throat too-another one we don't see here in the west. That's what so great with this board, I get to enjoy the birds I never see.

Rose, spectacular colors on that first sparrow. Love the red-winged, starling and bb too. All are so clear.

Pelle, haven't you had enough snow yet? I hope it hasn't broken any of the branches on that beautiful large tree. Cute starling.

gardenpom - I like the snap of the Blue Jay with the peanut.

Methodical - I've never seen a Brant Goose before, body makes me think of a Canada.

reddirtretiree - your Daddy BB long sure has nice color.

ducbucln - I've never seen a Tree Swallow either. nice looking birds.

Lily_love - sweet shot of the male Eastern Towhee. I see 'em often. The male has a much darker coloring than the female.

dellrose - I've got lots of Red-winged Blackbirds around here, too.

It was real cold here, but I did manage to get some pix. I made my first batch of peanut butter suet today. Got a few singles and combined multiples into collages.

Here is a Carolina Chickadee at a feeder with a Black Oil Sunflower seed.

Very nice shots Hack! Is there something wrong with that Cardinals beak? Enjoyed the Warblers, Waxwings, Chipping Sparrow and Robin!

It looks like he's missing some of the top of his beak.

I hope it's just a picture fluke. It looks like the bottom beak is broken and I can't see the top beak at all.

I like the Chipping Sparrows, I've had them here in years past but not at all for the past 12 months.

Sandusky, OH

Wonderful collection of shots everyone!! Duc, thanks for starting the new thread! Really liked the Eagle shots and the female Brewer's Blackbird is superb!
Nice shots Nanny!!
Reddirt, nice shot! The dish definitely doesn't hinder the color's of the Bluebird, looking forward to seeing future shots as well!
GP, really nice job on your bird's especially the Red-bellied WP!
Lily, nice shots! Like the variety you have!
Met, great shots of the Brant Goose!, first time to see one.
Pelle, snowing here too...and that just brings the Starling's back here to wipe out the suet. Ive went through 9 blocks (of suet) in just over a month.
Dellrose, really nice shots again! I think you have more kind's of Sparrow's than anyone. Go and get that Horned Lark! lol
Hack, heck of a job on all those pictures!! Your not lacking birds that's for sure! Really like your Yellow-rumped Warbler's and Waxwing shots!
Resin, nice shot of your Waxwings! And from a couple of threads ago nice shots of the Eider, first time Ive ever seen one. They look a little more serious than your average duck. lol

With the snow I get more visitor's but not much time to take it in. Got one shot today that I think is one of my better Red-breasted Nuthatch shot's considering the weather.

Hack, sorry it's still so cold there. Great shots of the chickadee and sparrow. Hope the cardinal's beak is just turned down and holding a seed. I loved the collages of the warbler and waxwings-fantastic! Loved the feeder collage too! And, thanks for my morning "eye candy"-the grackle. Love them!

Resin, great shot of the Waxwing!

Burd, that's a gorgeous photo of the nuthatch.

Mrs Ed, another gorgeous photo of the grosbeak! Beautiful photo of Ms. Cardinal and the cowbirds too.

Red, hope it warms up there. Great shot of the kildeer.

Here's an immature Bald Eagle just about to land.
