Tonya - yes ma'am I'll have one for you!
Thanks Linda! 'preciate it!
Central Texas San Marcos June 5th Round Up Trades List #1
I have added a few plants to my list above. I will probably be able to add some more in a few weeks as the seedlings that I wintersowed get bigger and I decided how many I want ot keep of those. I am pretty sure I will have some op tomatoes at the very least.
Speaking of op tomatoes, Jerry, can you list the seeds you have available in those? I would like one each of the following garlic varieties if you still have them, too: Red Toch Artichoke, Red Janice Turban and Burgundy Creole.
Jujube, may I have a loquat seedling and a dragonfruit plant if you still have some?
dstar do you have any milk and wine crinums left?
Anna, I put you down for a Walker's Low. Do you have a Daylily Byzantine Emperor left?
Thanks to all...
Tonya
Nbgard: 1 dragon fruit and one loquat
I was going to hack up some pecan seedlings unless anyone wanted one at the swap. Half my trees are small pecan and the other half are large pecan so you dont know what you are going to get. They like the clay here in San Marcos.
Hey jujube, I'll take a pecan seedling. Thanks.
Tonya
Yes Tonya, I have the Emperor for you.
Also have a seedling of Clematis Jackmanii if anyone wants. I have never seen it bloom, but it was growing near the mom(or dad as it may be)
Tonya....may I have a Blue Chaquita salvia.......thanks! Lee
Anna - if you still have available....I'd like a Byz. Emp & Crimson Pirate daylily thank you! Lee
Nbgard now has a pecan seedling.
I will go dig up a nice one.
I am adding an unknown baby fig to my list. I have two more that look like they are going to take as well so I might be adding more later. I will also adding a Passion Vine to my list as soon as it roots. They are incredibly vigorous so be warned. I believe the variety will be Passiflora Incarnata.
Tonya - got you down for a crinum.
I've added a few more things to my HAVE list
I have added some too.
Willis, I would like Agapanthus (blue).
Linda, do you still have Barbara's Buttons, Marshallia caespitosa to trade?
Lee, could I have one of those Tx Star Hibiscus, please?
Deb, could I have a yellow bulbine, please? Every single one of my bulbine bit the dust in the big freeze!
Oh, my Heartleaf Hibiscus is freeze-toast also...if anyone has one an extra little one available, let me know.
Banana18, I'll put one Barbara's Buttons down for you.
My to-do task for today, gotta start marking trades on my list today.
Anna - yep...I'll have some for you - blue Agapanthus
Linda - got you down for the red Tx star
Okay - Linda, got you down for some bulbine. Out of my 5 lg clumps the freeze got all but 2! But they're coming on strong and are already blooming! Could I get some of your Mistflower and Iron Weed? Those look like they would work well in my area.
Tonya - got you down for a crinum.
Lee - could I please get some agapanthus? They're so pretty and hardy. (I've started planting all the lilies you brought me - that's the last bit of babies I still have to get in the ground! Spent all day outside trying to find places and digging holes!)
Of course, Donna...I'm marking you down for those two!
Thanks for the buttons and agapanthus! Linda, is there anything you want from me? I have alot of zexmenia popping up too, if anyone wants.
Lee, gotcha down for the blue chiquita.
I have lots of the blue chiquita if anyone wants one or more!
Lee, I'd love some of these if you still have some:
Zig Zag Iris ( Iris brevicaulis - La variety species)
Dixie Iris (Iris hexagona - La variety species)
Agapanthus (blue)
Crinum "Ellen Bosanquet" - (burgandy color)
Banana18, could I have a purple oxalis?
Tonya, what is a blue chiquita?
It's a salvia. I have the PF link in my list toward the top. Very Pretty and I have found quite a prolific reseeder. I know I could pull up the baby plants to easily, but want to give everyone a chance to have one before I toss any!
Txrockgarden - I'll bring you a clump of them......I'd like some of your Okra seeds, please! Thanks!
PM me your address and I'll send some Okra seeds to you as I'm sure you'll want to get them in the ground before June.
Jerry
Tonya - I'd like to try growing some of the corsican mint,...if you have enough. Appreciate it!
Lee
nbgard, no problem for purple oxalis....also a reseeder!
Thanks bananna18
Le gotcha down for the corsican mint.
ty!
bump...
I'll be adding more to my list soon!
Tonya
Added a few more to my list above...

Here is a map to the Pavillion. The road is marked in red and it does not have a name as far as I know. Follow it all the way to the end and unload your car and then go back a few hundred feet and park along side the road as there will probably be lots of college kids and families. The island in the river is about 50 feet away and the triple water falls that you can actually slide down are about 250 feet away. There is also a pub/restraurant next to the waterfall.
If you are heading South you can take the CM Allen exit which I think is 204B. If you are heading North, you have to exit HWY 80 and turn around and come back on the access road.
I D-mailed everyone my cell in case you get lost.

I will put a link to your name. Just keep editing that post as you add or subtract things.
Nbgard,
All three pecan seedlings died. I am going to try to dig up some more with some of the soil still intact around them and see how that goes.
Hi Bluffles, Gotcha down for the peppermint, cedar sage and white mist flower. I'd love some iceplant and a pine tree. How do those loblollies do in this area? I know there are a lot around Bastrop and the Lost Pines area, but hadn't noticed them around here.
Jujube, thanks for the extra work on a pecan tree. Hope they make it this time!
Tonya
Tonya, The loblolly grow in the worst of soil...clay and sand. I imagine soil acidity will play a factor where you live.
I can tell you they grow VERY fast. 3-4 year. I hear they do not like their 'feet' wet....and do not take well to transplanting. I have many volunteers popping up in my flower beds, so I transplanted them to peat pots and they are all doing well after a month...so these babies are transplanting fine. Perhaps they are more sensivtive as they get older?
I have HUNDREDS more that are like groundcover and will surely not make it so close together. I plan on tryng to get those into pots as well.
Thanks bluffles. I like that they grow fast. I think I'd like to try some on our property in Blanco. It's pretty rocky out there, but maybe they will do well there, too. I would love to take as many leftovers off your hands as you have, meaning: in addition to the one promised, I'll take any that other folks don't want! (So as not to be greedy !)
Jujube, I'v beenwaiting a bit to ask, cuz I felt like I had asked for so much. Has anyone spoken for your baby fig and passion vine? If not, may I speak up for those?
Those are doing good. They are yours.
Thanks!
It's getting close! Tonya, could I ask for one of your white mist flower if you have any left?
Bannana18 - Could I please get some of your society garlic? I've heard it has really pretty blooms. Hopefully you'll have some left?
I'm also going to look in my garden and see what I can add to my list. There's quite a bit coming up. Much more than I thought would!
Deb
