We have a flat backyard that's getting re-levelled and seeded this spring so it's going to be a "blank canvas" lawn when it comes to what to do with the space. I've decided to take it little by little as need, money and ideas arise and the first step will be to create an area for the BBQ. We already have a deck for seating coming out from the kitchen so I am needing something that'll take the Weber safely and preferably looking good out on the grass.
My first idea was to create a spiral maze, tight enough to hold the Weber but usable as a feature (playground area!) without it. Can you picture it? How tight need it be, I rather not have a stone/concrete circle but prefer grass/something growing - or maybe pebbles (but that might be terrible with the toddlers throwing them everywhere?). Any ideas on how you'd do it?
Or any other ideas that you might have, please I'd like to hear it!
BBQ space ideas please
BBQ area should be kept as far away from any play areas as possible. Pebbles will def not work under a grill. I'd go with pavers or large slate pieces.
