Coffee Break #33 - Let's Go Lily!!

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Sorry to hear about your ex, Bill. That's awful. How old are your kids now? How sweet, you gave your wife a ring for Christmas. She's lucky to have you. : )

Schools let out early. They've had so many snow days already, I guess they wanted to avoid having to make up days in April, so they opened in the morning. DS is home now and eating oatmeal. He made a smiley face out of raisins on top. Silly boy.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

thx harper - ex is not really mentally insane - well maybe if they tested her - well maybe not - she could be though - yeah when i comes to me she is!

the scars are real though

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Ha ha ha...

Thomaston, CT

Harper, your DS is just so cute! I can see him now with the smiley face! Divorce is always painful, but my DH is encouraging is son, who separated from his wife of 30 years, to get a divorce. He won't---feels sorry for her medical problems, but she also has mental problems that are hard to live with.

Yes, I got the notice too, Bill. Longest backorder I have ever had. Well over a year for me.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Thanks Marilyn. He went off to do his homework now.

Went shopping and did not put puppy, Mr Griggz in the cage to see what would happen. Jims shoes chewed. Small bucket of water with fish nets soaking it all over. 7 brass vases strewed all over. TV flicker on the floor but not chewed. 1 glass salt shaker from the kitchen. 1 scatter rug chewed and dragged 15 feet. Coffee table moved 5 feet. Kindling all over the place. Last but not least a liquid and hard business on the floor.

Use the cage stupid.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

did not realise you ordered it too when i let everyone know it was on coming - even then we ordered it six months before available:)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Ugh - just looked out the window and saw my entire arbor with the Serotina honeysucke has fallen over with the heavy snow! That makes two fallen arches! My other larger one with the roses and clems is on its side!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

hopefully nothing is damaged and it can be set back up

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I hope. Just worried about the initial yank on the roots.

Sherrie, you made me smile today....I put my oldest Dane down yesterday and have been a bit blue...reading that made me remember in a good way all the bad things they do but we continue to love them to death!! Use that crate!! LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Sorry to hear, Ronnie.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Sorry about that Ronnie {{{{{{hugs}}}}}

Its sad to see them go Ronnie but there is always 2 ways to look at everything in life.
Your dog is not suffering and is in a better place, playing, chewing up things and scattering them every where you step...

Hubby got a letter from his union today and someone sprayed perfume on it. I am getting queasy from the smell. Had to move the envelope in the recycle bin on the other side of the room.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

just helped my daughter who got married in august file for divorce - loser does not begin to describe the guy she married - this is a good thing no condolences please - wasted a lot of money on the wedding - over 20K - glad i hung tough and did not contribute more when they were putting pressure on me.

people who promise they will change usually don't and you can't fix them yourself - should be lessons on money in marriage in schools.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Ugh! Yes, that's true.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

So true!!! Maybe one day we'll teach people the rules of life before we get married. You're a good dad.

Hey, look. Allison wrote last night at 11:47pm, then next, Bill wrote at 11:47am.

How's everyone doing? We got dumped on. It's still coming down. I haven't gone out to measure, but it looks like a foot at least.

You'll never believe what the neighbor's son did this time to the driveway. I just paid him $60 yesterday. Next time I'm giving the money to my own son. Our driveway is only two car lengths from garage to street. On snowy days, I park to the side in the grass so he can plow without having to deal with the car. He plowed one narrow strip the length of the driveway, not wide enough to get a car in. Then at the end of the driveway, he plowed crosswise, leaving a mountain of snow just behind my car. So now I can't pull out. I have to shovel anyway. There's such potential for a Hatfields and McCoys battle here. Grrrrrr!! I will avoid conflict with them. I don't trust that the kid won't break into my house and go shopping as revenge. So, I'm just going to tell them that I could really use the exercize and will be shoveling myself out from now on. I'll post pics soon so you can see what I mean.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Crazy, Harp! I have a huge driveway - over 4200 sq feet and pay $35 per plow.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

thx harper - she dumped the guy once before for the same problems, wish she had just stuck to her guns then

btw i would have him come back and clean up the driveway, he knows he did a crap job.

victor have you thought about what you could plant if that driveway were smaller:)
