It's another early spring for us. My mini daffodils are always one of the first to bloom. Thinking of all of you in the cold snow.
Daily pix #290
Oh Duc, I so wanted all the birds and the climate too where you're. Not to rub it in, but we too have Daffs. blooming down here. Temp. is warming up down here, reaching a balmy 67 degrees Farenheit today. The water is still, DH will take me out for a boat ride and birds sighting in a little while. Will share more pix. later. Have a blessed day everyone.
Love that taking-off flight shot, Red.
Lily, I wish they would fly to your house so you could enjoy them all the time! :-) Resident geese are a tremendous nuisance. The pair that located a pile of grain l placed in the snow for doves and juncos have been back in my yard every day for a week since. I probably ran them off 6 times yesterday.
Geese a nuisance here as well. some gold courses rent border collies to keep them off so golfers don't have to deal with all the muck.
I can relate to the possible nuisance the Northern Sky Carps could cause. They do look great from afar, however. Iris, I understand completely about your feeling on my unknown bird that Stretches between the feeders (above). LOL. They're so industrious that I thought they deserve some merit. LOL
Here is a great Blue Heron by the Dam in our area last Friday.
Chris the Kestrel underside feather is pretty!
I think kestrals are good, just not the geese. I don't think that we have kestrals here, at least I have not seen them, mainly hawks.
