yeah that's for the older people... LOL
Coffee Break #32 - Cold Days and Hot Flashes!
Hopefully my klip-klops will still be working...
:)
I knew them as clackers. They had several different names. Noth worth much. Anyone got one of these games??? Nintendo Stadium Events........... I wish I did.

Don't save anything---wish I did now! Cute cousin,Victor! Harper, sorry to hear of your sleeplessness----and weight gain----mine never came off! Got worse because of the meds I have to take---have to blame the meds & not the chocolate!
Have not been here for a while tried to catch up but am curious how you got from super bowl to hormones. LOL
I see Victor pretended to be a she
Hee hee - normal deviation for us, Maria!
My son can do the Rubik's cube in less than two minutes. They still sell them in retail stores.
Perhaps you should change it over to the Olympics at least it would be curent . Did you know there are 48 olympians from New England?
We have an old Nintendo in the attic but I'm sure we don't have Stadium Events. LOL Ric
I knew them as "Clackers" too and loved them! Wishing I still had the Rubiks Cube that's for sure.
I'm 49 and not a sign of anything yet. Most of my friends are almost done or starting.I'm in no hurry, I figure it will be hell since I've had trouble all my life with so called 'Women's stuff"! I hear a lot of younger women complaining of 'Peri Menopause' (spell?) nothing for me in that category either.
Yes, Maria, a nice group from NE in the Olympics.
Harper, That is amazing! Some kind of genius there.
Wow - I could never do it.
I could never do Rubik's Cube either without taking it apart. I have an original one but kids got to it and started taking the stickers off.
Harper, have you had your doc do a saliva test for hormone deficiencies? My friend did one for me (he's a holistic health practitioner) and gave me some things to take...not medications but over the counter vitamins and supplements. I just started taking them so I can't tell if they make a difference yet.
They have a series of algorythms (?) for the Rubik's Cube. You can find it on their website. That's how DS figured it out. At first, it took him an hour, then 15 mins, then his fastest, less than 2 min. I can't do it even if I do follow the instructions!
Jen, I've only had my blood done. I don't have health insurance now so I'm pretty much trying to figure how to alleviate my symptoms on my own.
Insurance won't cover the saliva test anyway.
Have you tried Estroven?
http://estroven.com/
You can buy in the grocery store, the PMS one works great.
No, I haven't. I'll have to check it out. I was thinking of adding this to my regular multivitamins plus calcium and magnesium: http://renewalenterprises.com/estro-prlabs.html
I don't see the list of ingredients for that, is there one?
I didn't see one either. I wonder why they didn't post it. I'll call them when I have time and find out.
Should I be reading all this??
Ronnie - I've had to deal with 'woman stuff' too - I'm married!
Wow, they wrote me back already with a link to the ingredients list: http://renewalenterprises.com/estro-prlabs.html
that's fast
In a flash??? ^_^
UGH
Read away Victor so you are well prepared!!
Or warned??
a shame about bloom of the day.. even after Sue came in here .. still just picking a couple of people.. very unprofessional .... you would think out of the millions of PF photos and hundreds of thousands of people who contribute to it... you should not see the same persons photos for years and years... just a shame
I don't see anything in that ingredient list that would help with menop.
For instance Black cohosh is like the #1 hot flash regulator and it's not in there.
All these are said to help symptoms
B12 and B6
Folic Acid
Inositol
Flax seed oil
Evening Primrose oil
Vitamin E
Omega 3(which you should be taking anyway)
And none of those are listed
I am watching earlier aired Olympics coverage on the dvr.. man those down hill skiers are nuts
Yes they are. The snowboard cross is not much saner.
Wish I could watch! The Olympics are one of the rare few things on TV that make me want to pay for cable again.
Okay, Jen. True confessions. I didn't research that at all. A friend of mine emailed it to me, saying that a friend of hers recommended it. I'm glad you posted that list of the things that help symptoms. How'd you find all this out?
Looks like snow here again.
here ya go D-Nut... more babies!!!
out of 3 trays of petunias ... only 3 six packs have not germinated yet.. the best I have ever done!!

I must get started on the planting---just being lazy! Won't get to art class today due to snow---my teacher sent all of us an e-mail saying she's planning on moving to Boulder---her daughter moved there this past fall---I'm very upset----I know I have the basics, but just getting together every Tues at the studio, chatting & painting, was my therapy. But Betsy & her husband have lived there before & have liked it, & they have no one left here in CT, so they're following their daughter. Our best friends for years followed their daughter to FL---she moved back here to CT----they don't know what to do now, elderly & not in the best of health. I wonder what I would do in the same circumstances---not sure!
a lot of tough decisions in life.. that's for sure
my in-laws had a great condo down the cape and in naples, Fl - sold them both and moved 5 miles away - really upset me too - nice cheap place to visit in Fl and the cape gone!! :)
You're way too organized and ambitious, Allison!
Exciting!
why thank you Victor
