I would like to put small plants on my kitchen window sill. The kitchen has a lot of natural light but the window itself does not get any direct sunlight. Are there any plants that will stay rather small and green that do not need direct sunlight?
thanks
suggestion for indoor plants for kitchen window sill
African violets work well.Edge
Pothos or heart leaf philodendron would do well, though they both will want to vine around if you let them. Depending on your humidity, a fern may be happy there, too. A sansevieria, but they do grow larger over time, as many plants will.
There are some very charming smaller cultivars of sansevieria a.k.a. Snakeplant or Mother-in-law's Tongue you might try.
Chinese evergreen, Spider plant, ZZ plant, Coleus, Sheffler...
