Thanks Mybus2, you have been here so you know most of what we have. Thanks Sheila but with the RU being in six days it is a little late.
* May 15th * East TX RU Loves Lookout #1 Trades
Gosh, it is just around the bend! What happened to April?
Ken, I can bring you some fern.
I am needing some TX star hibiscus, both the white and the red. If anyone has any of that, please lmk what you need in trade.
Charlene
will tag it with your name ken
All I can say is I redid the front of the house and put in encore azaleas with a few natural ones that will all be a medium size bush when grown so I am looking for things to put in front of them to come up every year
Everyone remember to stop by the food attendance thread and put in what you are bringing for lunch

Charlene, I got your hostas and am gathering the blackberry lillies for you now.
I just wanted to warn everyone that not all of my plants are looking so great. This gale force wind we've had has tattered and wilted everything. :(
Karen, I also wanted to let you know in advance that I'm going to have to give you a rain check on a few of the water plants. I divided everything a month ago and have had them sitting in the pond ready to be bagged up tomorrow. Well, wouldn't you know, my frogs moved in. I heard them last night, so I thought I'd better get your plants out today. But, they didn't waste any time. Everything is covered with what should be tadpoles in a few days. We need the frogs because of our mosquito problem, so I can't disturb them. I did manage to get some sprigs of a couple of things, but I will have to hang on to the water lily and pickerel reed until fall. Sorry!
Hey Everyone, I just trimmed my Rose Geranium and Jerusalem Sage, I can bring some cuttings if anyone wants them.
Josephine.
I will be there early to secure our usual spot. I will bring some plants but am not looking for anything. I may not be able to stay as long as I normally stay.
Really just want to see friends and meet new ones.
DD
We stuck around awhile for the storms to pass over. Still driving in the rain though. Loaded the plants yesterday so they are fine; but could see how this weather would do a number on yours Pattie. I was afraid we might see hail but got lucky there.
Be safe everyone. BTW, I have with me the cashier's check for Dave and Trish for money taken up at the Arlington RU on May 2nd. If Charlene doesn't make it, maybe Dde can connect with him. BTW, another member sent money so we ended up with $120 to spend of whatever they want or need.

We will be meeting with Trish and Dave before the swap and give them the puppy Nadine brought up for them. I love little puppies.
Dde....what was the large leaved plant that you shared at the RU? You said it did spread. I never got a name on anything so don't remember what you said it was.
I hope it wasn't Cashmere Bouquet.
That is it, but why "hope it wasn't"?? You warned me about the invasiveness of it, so I have it in a large pot. Since it doesn't reseed, I think I will be fine. I plan on gifting some to my sister in the country though that have deer in her yard and can't keep plants. It said it was deer resistant so she can put it in a large wash tub size container she has and enjoy it.
Mine grow fine in containers.....I don't want a forest of it.....but several together in a tub looks great to me....a plant of contrast,...don't you think?....foliage stinks, flowers nicely fragrant
Mine hasn't bloomed as yet, they were new cuttings at RU time. I am looking forward to having them in bloom.
Sheila
This is the plant and it does spread from underground roots. It does make nice blooms of pink. If it can be controlled it makes a nice plant....but controlled is the key.
