* May 15th * East TX RU Loves Lookout #1 Trades

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

I do believe that Dave and Trish will not be there, to much politics. They will be at the MG sale and I will be looking forward to seeing them.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Chell, I have the alocasia cucullatta for you.

Dave and Trish will not be attending the RU. As Ken said, TOO much politics! We can still gift them with lots of nice plants for their family. Even the children love to have their own plants.

If you bring them, I'll deliver them. They will be thrilled with anything as they pretty much like all plants.

Charlene

Please save newspaper for me and bags that cover the newspaper and other plastic bags as well.
Thanks

(Karen) Frankston, TX(Zone 8a)

Do any of you have any mint sprigs I might have, peppermint or spearmint maybe? I lost mine in the freeze....

Edited to add: Guess I missed out on all the politics, I have not posted here since last October so I have no idea what you are talking about. It is probably for the best that I don't. Heck, I gave up all message boards for the entire last year in fact due to all the internal politickin' in general.....

Sorry for the OT interruption, I just truly was caught off guard when you asked that people bring gifts for you to give to Dave and Trish because they would not be there. Since they have never missed one, I thought I might have been misreading something.

Now, back to the tradin'! That's what I like best!

Mibus2 I would like some of your blue and white mealy sage, thanks.
charlenesplants I would some of your Bronze Mums and noid daffodils, thanks.
frostweed I would like some of your OBEDIENT PLANT, Thanks.

I have updated my list and who gets what, If I missed you please speak up. Also If you want something and it's not on my haves list but you know we may have it, let us know, we aim to please.

(Karen) Frankston, TX(Zone 8a)

Ken may I please have an Oregano and a Turk's cap? I need to call you and Maggi about coming by with the things I have for you before long....

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

OK Ken you have the Obedient plant.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Ken, I have you down for the Bronze Mums and noid daffodils. I could also bring you a mealy cup sage if you want more. I have the blue and the white. Which one? Or do you want both?

If it is not too much trouble, I'd love another bunch of those turk's cap runners.
I found out that what makes yours run is that they are not getting as much sun as mine. I plan on moving some to the shade because with the runners, they of course already have roots starting on them. We actually have the same plant, but mine gets full sun and makes an upright bush. Amazing how different they perform in different lighting. I belong to an ag club and everybody is wanting turk's caps from me. :)
Charlene

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Charlene - I don't have the Coneflowers to trade....sweet lady. I do have the Red Tx Star Hibiscus seedlings if you'd like a couple.... ( I only have a couple left to trade)....for a white Mealy Cup Sage? Thanks!

Madrid, may I please have a Sweet Herb Lippia dulcis and a lemon grass?

(Karen) Frankston, TX(Zone 8a)
