I just get the house last year, the irrigation running with pump, and groundwater.
My new fruit trees, flowers start dying. Can I filter it?
Help! my groundwater is salty ,I can't using for irrigation
can you catch rainwater off the roof? plastic 55 gallon drums are often available at recyclers.. prett gheap too, otherwise throw some garbage cans under the downspowts.
do you use the salty water to drink?
Thanks jjconcept.
We not using groundwater to drinking.I'm very close to the see in Fl. just wanna joy my hobby, the fresh vegetables, fruits.I'm spend hundreds of dollars for tropical fruit trees, vine grapes, flowers. Everything is dying.I'm trying to catch rainwater, and put the trees in big canes. Now, around my house is full with different plastic garbage cans with trees, and under the roof for rainwater.Ugly!!!! This is a nice Neighborhood. I just stuck.
Thanks again Steve
I am not sure, but i believe a reverse osmosis system may remove enough to make it potable.. probably depends on just how salty it is.. do you have well drilling companies you can call?
there is greco and haines http://www.grecoandhaines.com/
they are up here, but good people and may answer a few questions for you.

Hi Joe, Thanks for the link, and answer.
I think the reverse osmosis system is good idea I guess this is a microscopic ion filter. I will make some calls.
